The months from October all the way through to March seem to drag by, once Christmas and New Year are over, what's really there to look forward too? The harsh winds that pierce your face, No. What about the rain that freezes your body through and through? I dont think so...
You're probably wondering why on earth i'm blabbering on about my dislike for winter (ignore the week of Christmas and New Year, because who doesn't love sitting in front of the TV surrounded by your favourite people and chocolates). There is method in my madness.
You see The only thing that really gets me through the winter season is the light at the end of the tunnel, quite literally, the sun.
When watching the rain constantly pour down, I tend to long for the days of picnics, shorts and ice creams. The first sign of spring/summer for me usually is when the daisies start to make an appearance and make the once dull grass seems full of colour.
And on to my jumper... Even though it was a miserable day outside, I couldn't let this jumper go. It gives off a summer vibe, even though its only black and cream, it's somewhat cute and girly (which isn't really my style, but who can resist the print?!) Even though I paired it with a black dress, black tights and a black chunky coat, it would look really nice in the Spring (when its still a bit chilly!) with a pair of denim shorts or a bright coloured midi skirt.
What would you pair this jumper up with?
