Eiffel for Paris.

I've just come back from a 'mini-holiday', two day trip with the girls, judging by the photos and the post title, you would have probably guessed that we went to Paris!! It was for the lovely Jenny's 18th birthday and we sure did spend it in style! I must say I had THE best time in Paris and the girls would be very quick to agree!

Paris is one of those cities where you just HAVE to go to admire the wonderful monuments and the spectacular sights (alliteration eh?). Here are just a few snaps of our time running wild in Paris (some are mine, some are from the girls), one thing that you need to know (if you are thinking about going to Paris for the first time) is that to wear comfortable shoes! You walk up a lot, I mean A LOT of stairs.

We visited the Sacre Couer, which is absolutely beautiful once you get to the top, the Eiffel Tower - this is a MUST, we chose to walk up to the first and second floors (you get a lift to the last floor) because the queue for the stairs was much shorter than the queue for the lift. A must see is to go to Avenue Des Champs Elysees and see the Arc de Triomphe along with the 8 lane roundabout, no lie we stood watching the cars for about 30 minutes, each car is in it for itself, it's the funniest thing! We also got the metro to the Louvre, we really wanted to see the Mona Lisa but it is shut on Tuesdays *sad face*, and lastly we visited the Notre Dame, honestly it was the most beautiful building I have ever seen.

One more thing, the weather was a gorgeous 23C !!! You can see why we didn't want to come home to the lovely UK weather :(.

Have you been to Paris? Do you want to go?

Let me know what you think.

Daisy xx
